It was our first time on a houseboat. The pictures are very informative and honest. Of course, everything is a bit more spartan and cramped than in a house. I am almost 2 meters tall and it is a challenge, but it is doable. We were also out and about a lot. For two weeks, I think it would be too cramped for me (because of the height), but for a few days, it's absolutely OK. The deck is the most beautiful place to relax and enjoy the evening after arrival or after a full day of exploring. The location is ideal, and who lives so close to the water?

There were four of us on the boat. There is enough space available. The boat is centrally located, and you can easily explore the city. It's something special to live on the boat. There is a seaside swimming area nearby, plenty of options for coffee or restaurants, and smaller supermarkets. An ideal base.

My family and I (2 adults + teenage daughter) had a fantastic time in Copenhagen and the Floating G.O.A.T. was perfect for us! The location was excellent base for exploring the city and it was so nice to come back to such a cozy and comfortable home. There are many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The views from the ferry are gorgeous. We loved sitting outside and watching boats, bikes and people going by. And Kate is a very welcoming, responsive host. We truly loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

Super central location. Still quiet, thanks to Copenhagen's bicycle traffic. Modern and functionally furnished cabins, beautiful views of the water and the passing ships and boats. A small deck for sitting in the evening sun. And an "official" bathing area barely 300 meters away. Kate was always friendly and very helpful. We liked the boat very much and have already recommended it to our friends.

Cannot beat the location! Close to everything we wanted to do. Very charming boat and the beds so comfortable! Owners very, very nice and gave lots of support. Only thing to be aware of- if you are not solid on two feet, the lower apartment is probably not the best fit for you. The upper apartment likely better. Talk to the owners- they clearly care very much about guests having a good experience!!

The boat is amazing - spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay and very warm and cozy. We had a wonderful stay on Kate’s boat. The pictures don’t do it justice, there’s a lovely feel and finish, great attention to detail and well equipped. Our trip was in November and it was so nice coming back to the boat after a day’s sightseeing, with it being so warm, cozy and welcoming. Very comfortable beds. It was disappointing to come home and sleep in a bed on land again! Kate was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

In all the years of renting I think this spot has been one of the coolest places I have ever stayed! Kate was an amazing host - she even met us at the boat to make sure we got in safely. This boat is very walkable to everything you want to see in the city so please don’t be confused by maps when you are trying to decide to stay here. You are on a boat, but you cannot feel the movement and if weather persists you must make time to sit out on the deck!!! It’s a great place to people watch as bikers and walkers alike use the foot bridge right by the boat. You are right on the water - we had priceless views of the sunsets, boats going by, the city and yet it was so peaceful and quiet. I would stay here again and again. Do yourself a favor and snatch this rental up before it is booked!!

Unique location and opportunity to stay on the Floating G.O.A.T.! Easily accessible via metro stop Christianshavn that goes both to airport and to city center.<br/>Bright and modern interior. Very neat and cozy! In reality, perhaps a little smaller/compacter than 'expected' based on the photos, but logical when you think about it: it remains a boat!<br/>You can also easily walk to Nyhavn.<br/>Kate & Andreas are great! Super friendly. Communicate very quickly and extensively. And if they happen to be on the boat, you can have a nice chat with them and they will be happy to give you tips!<br/>The only 'remark' we want to make is that the boat is on the 'main river' and some sailing traffic passes there and therefore causes swell. If you are sensitive to seasickness, that might be a bit of a risk...<br/>But if you want something different from a typical apartment: this is recommended!

Central to everything in Copenhagen we could walk everywhere and/or use metro (which we barely needed). Perhaps best is that we got to live out Marcus’ experience from The Bear- living on the houseboat and experiencing great gastronomy! The houseboat had enough room for my wife and our two sons 18,21. Friendly and responsive hosts Kate and Andreas even invited us to party hosted on their adjacent property and were very accommodating to our need for early check in and late check out. Super memorable family vacation celebrating our recent high school and college graduates!

Unforgettable stay aboard this charming and surprisingly spacious ferry, moored in a peaceful setting in Copenhagen. The boat is both comfortable and full of character, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Waking up with the water view was a real treat! The Houseboat is one of a kind! We were 3 friends and felt right at home. The accommodation corresponds to the pictures & description and is tiptop in size. The bedrooms are large and the beds very comfortable! The bathroom is also modern. Only the seating alcove is a bit hard, but we practically always stayed outside anyway. The location of the boat is absolutely brilliant, so you can be in the center within a few minutes on foot. Coffees and restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and 100% recommend it. Kate was very friendly and always available.

We had a really wonderful stay on the Floating GOAT! Kate was really helpful, the location was brilliant, and the flat itself was super nice (& way more spacious than the photos felt). Just to note that there were a few big waves / movement where the motion of the boat was felt, but it was really minimal and overall very stable (I wasn’t sure what to expect in advance), so it wasn’t like being on a boat. <br/>The deck sitting area was really nice. The only noise was the bicycles riding over the metal strip on the bridge. Everything very walkable and Andersens Bakery fabulous and very close. <br/>Highly recommend a stay here. My kids were ready to move and stay forever.

Very unique experience and comfortable for a short stay for two people. Great value compared to hotels in the area (we originally planned to stay at Marriott, but glad we reconsidered). Perfect location for sightseeing. We did not cook or eat at home, so we can’t speak to the kitchen amenities but the rest of the apartment was just as pictured. It’s quirky because it’s a boat, but we really enjoyed the experience.

It's also very conveniently located close to the metro station, from which it's only a 15min ride to the airport. <br/>The interior of the ferry has been beautifully refitted recently. The bedroom is huge and is equipped with an extremely comfortable box spring bed. <br/>Kate was super friendly and a very helpful host. Self Check-in was easy with clear instructions. I can only highly recommend this place for your stay in CPH.

Fantastic experience, right in the middle of Copenhagen. You look out of the windows to the canal and watch the people passing by the bridge, ans with a sunny day in Copenhagen it’s a great place to kick off and relax. I didn’t expect the bedroom to be so spacious, and the bathroom is bigger than the one we have at home. Everything spotless and you can barely feel any motion from the water. Slept 2 nights with small children and they loved it. Great location for any time of the day.

We loved our stay on the Floating G.O.A.T. It was the perfect location for restaurants, tourist areas, local joints and the water. We walked everywhere except when we went to Roskilde. About 20 minutes from the airport by taxi. Kate was an exceptional host who communicated brightly and quickly. The interior space is cozy for four, but has everything you need to cook at home and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed our private deck to watch the world go by.

We HIGHLY recommend that everyone book a stay on this amazing boat! The location, interior, and atmosphere are incredible and suited us perfectly. We had such wonderful breakfasts and dinners out on the dock and enjoyed all the people and the surroundings. The location was optimal for us, with the Glyptoteket, Tivoli, Ströget and Nyhavn within a short and reasonable walking distance. The store, cozy cafés, and swimming facilities are only minutes away. Everything is very fresh and new in the boat, such as the bathroom and kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, and there is well-functioning Wi-Fi and AC.
